Residential Construction Site Manager

Job summary:

Formwork Foundations is a leading construction company specializing in residential projects. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Site Manager to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality construction projects from start to finish.

Qualifying candidates must have the following:

– Construction trade certification or equivalent.

– Working at heights training.

– First aid certificate.

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years of experience in a site management or supervisory role.

– Strong understanding of residential construction practices, codes, and regulations. Familiarity with various construction methods, materials, and equipment.

– Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Proven track record in successfully leading and motivating construction teams to achieve project goals.

– Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members, ensuring clear understanding of project expectations and requirements.

– Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

– Proficient in using construction management software and tools.

– Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving construction-related challenges and issues.

– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

– Thorough knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations. Commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all project stakeholders.

– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Duties that you will be required to perform on a day to day basis are:

– Oversee and manage residential construction projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

– Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

– Lead and supervise a team of construction professionals, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and laborers.

– Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

– Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify and resolve any issues or challenges, and ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

– Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety records.

– Monitor project budgets and costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective construction practices.

– Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.

– Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

– Conduct regular project meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on progress, challenges, and resolutions.

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, incorporating innovative construction techniques and technologies into projects whenever possible.

Schedule:

– 10 hour shift

– 8 hour shift

– Day shift

– Monday to Friday

– Weekends as needed
